This is really an early rising group. Most are up by 5:30 am and hit the road before 7:00. We usually pull into camp by 1:00 and the only advantage I can see is that by afternoon winds tend to pick up some. It is a little hectic in the morning. Dean makes a pot of oatmeal and coffee, everyone makes lunches, helps with dishes and getting the RV ready to move and then heads out the door. We take turns driving Bud and Sandy's vehicle which is our SAG and meets up with us every 10 miles or so. Since seeing bears, we are caring bear spray. Bud had an extra can so we all got a lesson on how to use it last night in camp. Let's hope we don't have to use it. Mosquitos are getting bad here now, if there is no wind they surround us when we stop for a break and in camp at night.

This and That
David is up to 14 flats now. However, it looks like the problem is solved now after going through many tubes. I have never seen so many big motorhomes than in the campground we are in. I find it hard to imagine why someone needs such an extravagant motor home. Traffic has thinned now and trucks seem to be courteous to the bikers. Words don't describe how beautiful the scenery is in this area and pictures don't do it justice. So we just have to enjoy the moment.
